To set the default color map:
1. Click Video to view the Video Tab.
2. Select the desired Color Map.
3. Click Save.
2.3 Polarity
The video polarity determines which values are used for high and low temperatures. The Pearl
Control Software offers two options:
Hot objects appear brighter, cold objects appear darker.
(This is the default setting).
Cold objects appear brighter, hot object appear darker.
To change the default polarity:
1. Click Video to view the Video Tab.
2. Select the desired Polarity.
3. Click Save.
2.4 Frame Average
Frame averaging can help smooth out or remove motion in the image. The values
determine how many frames are averaged together before displaying an image.
Selecting None turns off frame averaging.
Example: Selecting “2” will average 2 frames before displaying. Selecting “4”
will average 4 frames before displaying. The higher the number, the more
noticeable the effect.
To change the default frame average:
1. Click Video to view the Video Tab.
2. Select the desired Frame Average.
3. Click Save.
2.5 Flipping
Flipping will flip the image along both the X and the Y axis. This is useful if a
lens has flipped the image or the camera is mounted upside-down.
Flips the image across the X
Flips the image across the Y
To use the flipping feature:
1. Click Video to view the Video Tab.
2. Select the desired Flipping effect(s).
3. Click Save.
