3. Electrical Installation

The device is equipped with a 12-pin round

connector, where all signals are available.

(12-pin male socket, series 723 (waterproof),

Pin Color Function

K white + 24 V dc supply voltage

A brown 0 V dc supply voltage

L green + Ia analog current output

B yellow - Ia analog current output

H gray turn on/off laserpointer by short-circuit with K

J pink external clearing of peak memory by short-circuit

with K (only in clearing-mode „external“)

M blue /

orange

device ground (blue); screen (orange), only for cable

extension, don´t connect at the switchboard

G red DGND (RS232) S (RS485) interface ground

F black RxD (RS232) Y (RS485)

C violet TxD (RS232) Z (RS485)

D gray-pink B2 (RS485) (short-circuit with F)

E red-blue A2 (RS485) (short-circuit with C)

Example for connecting the serial interface (solder side):
